....and this is the diamond of my finds. This amazing beaded belt or scarf. So many things I can create with this. Some of the best items I have come across, I have found at my local thrift, second hand stores, garage sales.
Often, people do not realize what they are giving away - their trash my treasure. Most of the items in my shops are used with second hand, found materials of some kind. Check out your local neighborhood. You never know what you can find...

i love that beaded scarf/belt it almost looks vintage to me & FANTASTIC!!!!!! you are so right about what can be found at thrift stores. my favorite one is an hour away & i love it. i've found brand new pants for my son. snow pants for $7 that my son loved & actually wore...lol. i've bought bollywood dance costumes. as well as veils for belly dance truly treasures.
I love it. My mom took us to rummage sales, Goodwill, etc. when we were kids and it really rubbed off on me....
Have you seen the amazing bedspreads people are making with those beautiful vintage vera scarves? I'll see if I can track down the link.
